Meet our Dentist
Dr. Omar Almakky, DMD
Dr. Almakky was born in Besançon, France where he spent most of his childhood before moving to his parent’s hometown; Damascus, Syria.
Dr. Almakky received his Doctor of Dental Surgery DDS from The University of Damascus and graduated top of his class in 2009, he then enrolled for two years in the Orthodontics Residency program at the same school.
Dr. Almakky moved to the US in 2015 and continued his journey in dentistry shortly after. Dr. Almakky completed an Advanced Standings Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry where he graduated with honors and obtained his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry DMD.
Since then Dr. Almakky has been practicing general dentistry in the Greater Dayton/Cincinnati area.
Dr. Almakky lives in Liberty Township with his wife Gigi and their two sons. In his free time Dr. Almakky enjoys spending quality time with his family, swimming, and working on home improvement projects.
Dr. Almakky has been a dentist for over 15 years and is happy to bring his comprehensive dental skills to serve you and your family’s dental needs at Springdale Dental Care.
Dr. Almakky speaks English, Arabic, French and some Turkish.
